Matt Kiser: Why the Stereogum Buzz Chart is Bullshit
Today, Stereogum launched their new Buzz Chart. I love the concept in theory (a lot!), but it’s not based in reality. It seems to be some sort of pseudo editor’s pick, not the “scientific and definitive list” they’re touting.

Things Change, A Life Update
So I totally used to call my Tumblr “Snarky Sparky.” Embarrassing? Probably. I’m over it, things change.
For the overwhelming number of you who still follow me despite my lack of post (probably just too lazy to unfollow me), here are some deetz on where I’m at right now. I’m interning for the summer at a very cool, very corporate, very established magazine; working on my senior thesis (no link, it’s not even close yet, jokers); I’m seeing Beirut (be jealous) I’m collaborating with some of my older friends on a new project; and once again, I’m living it up in commuting proximity to New York City.
In short ife’s good. Oh, I’m also going to Nashville next week via roadtrip (again, be jealous).
